How to open a bank account in Al Rajhi step by step guide

 Step 1:

Filling the Bank Account Application Form using the Bank website mentioned as below:

https://www.alrajhibank.com.sa/en/personal/accounts-and-cards/current-account

Copy the above URL to your browser and click OPEN ACCOUNT on the right top corner.



Step 2:

Fill in all your details like Iqama number, mobile number, employment, and salary details, etc.

Step 3:

Once you filled in all the required information, click Submit and you will receive an SMS message with your account details.

Step 4:

Now visit any of AL Rajhi self-service kiosk centers to print your ATM card by yourself by entering the account details received by SMS to your mobile.

Step 5: 

Activate your fresh Printed ATM card at the nearby ATM machine to enjoy the banking services from Al Rajhi.

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud orders 3-month free extension of iqama and reentry visas of expats

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has approved the extension of the validity of the expired iqama (residency permit) and exit and reentry visas of expatriates who are outside the Kingdom for a period of three months without any fee.

The iqama of expatriates inside the Kingdom as well as the visa of visitors who are in the Kingdom of which the validity expires during the period of suspension of entry and exit from the Kingdom will also be extended for a period of three months without any charge.

Who will benefit from this new Order?


1 Expired Iqama of expats who are inside the kingdom, should be expired during the suspension period.


2. Visit visa holders, whose visa was expired during the suspension of exit and entry from the kingdom.


3. Expats who are outside the kingdom on reentry visas, which got expired during lockdown.


4. Expats who are unable to return due to suspension of international flights.


5. Expats who are inside the kingdom, with issued exit or exit reentry visa holder.

New Guidelines to visit Masjids in KSA from 31 May

Saudi Ministry of Islamic affairs had proposed new guidelines to follow for visiting any of the Masjid inside the kingdom.

Saudi Arabia plans to ease the curfew in phases

Saudi Arabia takes the first tentative steps toward a return to normal life.

Saudi Arabia announced the changes in curfew times from this week, and lift it entirely across the Kingdom except Mecca, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported in a statement early on Tuesday.

The Restrictions lifted from May 31 which includes domestic travel, holding prayers in mosques, and workplace attendance in both government and private sector.

The Kingdom will have curfew relaxation from 6 am to 3 pm from 28 May to 30 May as first phase and then from 6 am to 8 pm from 31 May to 20 June as second phase in which

the Kingdom will reopen all mosques outside Mecca. It is also reported that both public and private sector staff would be allowed to attend their workplaces.

From June 21, the Kingdom will return to normal life. Until then barber shops, gyms, cinema remain suspended. 

The suspension of Umrah and international flights will remain in place until further notice.
